This discussion focuses on how Christian thinking on basic subjects evolved through the centuries, beginning with the foundational beliefs of the primitive Church. Topics discussed include the work of the Holy Spirit, the sacraments, death and resurrection, evil and hell.

Details

We will discuss each of the books of the Chronicles of Narnia. If attendees would like, this will be followed by a study of additional works of Lewis.

Your host, Harold Schnedler, completed a Masters Program on C.S. Lewis from Yale University.

This will be a fun, lively discussion.

Here is one of our upcoming courses:
C.S. Lewis: The Gospel in Fiction

Participants will read a discuss literary works written by C. S. Lewis. These will include the seven-book Chronicles of Narnia, the three-book Space Trilogy, and two others works.
The book study will be offered twice a month on Wednesday evenings, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., or on Wednesday mornings 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. beginning October 23rd. The first session will concern the life and thoughts C. S. Lewis.
